لهُ تاريخ طويل في مجال الشعر، وله ديوان شعر اسمه «للشعر لغة» أخرى صدر عام 2005، غنى له الفنان كاظم الساهر من كلماته موال لابوك من ألبوم سلامتك من الآه وهو أول شاعر خليجي يغني الفنان كاظم الساهر أحد قصائده.
